Join us for the 2026 UTHealth Houston Half Marathon & 10K, where performance meets purpose. Hosted by the Houston Striders, this event brings together runners, walkers, and the local community to support wellness, charitable initiatives, and the love of running. With a scenic, mostly flat course and an inclusive race environment, there’s a place for everyone at the start line. Fast, Flat, and Philanthropic : the Houston Half Marathon & 10K is presented by the Houston Striders , an all-volunteer, 501 (c) (3) non-profit focused on community wellness and charitable outreach. We are a metro-wide running club with over 500 active members and have been running Houston since 1985! In years past, we ve given over $ 1 million to Houston-area organizations & non-profits. You also have the opportunity to raise money for your charity using the Kind Stride Program described below.
