Prairie Fire Marathon

The marathon course presents a mix of terrain, with the first half described as hilly before transitioning to a flatter second half for the last 13 miles. Runners start at Equity Bank Park and navigate through several notable districts including downtown Wichita, the Old Town district, the Douglas Design District, College Hill, Crown Heights, and Eastborough. This route exposes participants to both urban landscapes and residential neighborhoods, offering shifting scenery throughout the course. T
